Some background on me. I am a professional pattern maker/grader. Along with my husband we owned and operated a garment manufacturing company for 20 years. Our last 10 years were solely devoted to supplying the dance industry in Canada. We always thought we would introduce a traditional style TUTU but there never was enough time. I have since retired and the time is available.

All sample making for the patterns shown on the web site were sewn with a Bernina home machine. A small home serger was used for some finishing details.

You do not need special machines to make a tutu, just patience.
